For children and students of all ages.
We take a modular approach to assessments - building up a detailed picture of the pupil's skills and abilities.
After gathering a full profile of the individual from parents (or the student themselves), and an understanding of any areas of weakness or concern, the Psychologist will decide on the structure of their assessment.
Our Psychologists examine General Abilities to generate a full cognitive profile of strengths and weaknesses, and then assess for attainment. By examining word reading, reading and listening comprehension, spelling and numerical skills, advice can be given on whether levels of attainment are within the expected range or whether they are unusually weak or advanced.
We can also say if there is a particular psychological difficulty in relation to any aspect of learning, for example Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dyspraxia.
